Our history
The Gardeners Rest was formed – initially this was selling coffee and cakes plus hot pastries, the cakes were baked in house in a very small area and the best selling at that time were Victoria Sponge, Coffee and Walnut and Chocolate
The Gardeners Rest offered a fuller variety of menu choices, the kitchen and the seating of the restaurant area were developed and hot meals were then served such as fish and chips, jacket potatoes and Sunday roast lunches.
Valentines Day – The Greenhouse Restaurant was opened, we are extremely proud of the design and spacious surroundings that have been created to offer our customers a relaxing and pleasurable dining experience. Our menu has been created by our Head Chef, all food being locally sourced and cooked freshly with specialities daily.
